The Reverend Laura C. Kelsey, Pastor (Head of Staff)
Laura began her service at Bethany on April 1, 2007, after 3-1/2 years at Tyrone Community Presbyterian
Church of Fenton, MI. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Geology, Laura
earned a Master of Divinity degree at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Laura has
also served at Harrodsburg United Presbyterian Church of Harrodsburg, KY, Flushing Presbyterian Church of
Flushing, MI and First Presbyterian Church of Ypsilanti, MI. Laura especially enjoys partnering with the people of
Bethany as they grow in faith and life, discovering God’s vision for their lives both personally and as a
congregation. Together with her husband, Jeremy, and son, Aaron, the Kelsey family is proud to be a part of the
Bethany family.
