Worship is a time of celebration as we worship the Living God together through song, prayer, liturgy, Scripture
readings and pastoral reflection. A time of fellowship follows worship each week.
Music is a vital part of the worship service of Bethany Church.
We praise God through various kinds of song -- both contemporary and traditional and through organ, piano and
guitar. During September through May, the Chancel Choir sings weekly and the Bell Choir playing monthly. During
the summers, we have special music each week led by various persons and scheduled by our Director of Music, Dr.
Cas Adrey.
We are handicapped accessible via ramps on both levels and have wheelchairs available on both levels for
those who need them while at the church. We also have hearing devices for use in the Sanctuary.
Communion is celebrated approximately once a month during worship, either on the first Sunday of every month
or on one of the High Holy Days of the Church. The High Holy Days in the Church Year in which we celebrate
communion are: the Baptism of the Lord, the Transfiguration of Jesus, the First Sunday of Lent, Maundy Thursday,
Easter, Penecost, Trinity Sunday, World Communion Sunday, Christ the King Sunday, the First Sunday in Advent
and Christmas Eve.
Parking: You are welcome to park behind the church in either the 5 church parking places or in the two
parking lots. During the daytime hours, only the 5 parking places or the on-street parking places in the
front are available.
